Winter Photography Workshop - Winter 2019 - 2020

For this workshop we are dependent on the weather and this workshop will only take place if the conditions are good! We also let the date depend on the best circumstances!
You can register for this workshop without obligation by going through the ordering process. Your details will then be saved and I will contact you a few days before it takes place. The maximum number of participants is 8 people. The first 8 registrants will be contacted first, then we will go down the waiting list. If there is sufficient interest, a second day will be planned!

At first glance, winter is a cold, dull, wet and gloomy season. But precisely that same winter offers us unique opportunities for our photography. In this winter photography workshop we will work with this unique situation.

The winter light with its elongated period of sunrise and sunset is perhaps the most beautiful light imaginable and can give your photos a lot of atmosphere. The high-contrast landscapes also offer the black-and-white photographer many possibilities for converting the images to abstract black-and-white.

During this winter walk I pay attention to learning to look and discover the possibilities that we are presented with. You will learn to adjust the exposure correctly and we will discuss the effect that the white balance of your camera has on the final image. Naturally, we will discuss matters such as composition and camera angle. You will see that there are often more topics available than you would expect at first glance.
This workshop is suitable for both the novice and the advanced photographer.

  • a digital (SLR) camera or telephone with the option to adjust your exposure
